Dibakar (DB) Bhattacharyya recognized by AIChE

Professor Dibakar (DB) Bhattacharyya, University of Kentucky Alumni Professor in the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department, is the recipient of the 2020 AIChE Separations Division Founders Award “in recognition of five decades of exemplary leadership and innovation in service, research, and education which embraced the need for mentoring along with knowledge creation.” Professor Bhattacharyya is a global leader in membrane science and engineering who has led the community in addressing societal needs for providing clean water and empowering generations of scientists and engineers to follow him.
